The three main research areas of the Chair for “Public Transport and Mobility Management” are

1. Developing economic, technological and societal basic principles for the understanding of change processes in public transport.
    
2. Developing, testing and evaluating solutions for new tasks, application areas and cooperations for public transport.
    
3. Establishing mobility management as an important pillar alongside infrastructural and structural interventions and exploring its processes and effects.
